We hope you all have a great year; we are excited to see everyone tomorrow!

We welcomed our new 6th-graders into our building today. This was no easy feat with the large sewer construction project that occurred over the summer. We are so grateful for the hard work of many individuals. There is no way we could have predicted to be ready to roll as we were this morning!!! Power clap for you!!!
Just a few pictures of our main hallway.
Thank you!!!

We had the pleasure of welcoming our 6th-graders to the Demon Crew!!! We had our first Homeroom Draft...announced by Mr. Hopfauf himself! Note: I have pictures of each student with their Homeroom teacher that will be sent to parents and student. Then, students went on a scavenger hunt, put their mark on our school by writing their names on our Demon board, had some downtime with friends and an ice cream treat, and learned more about our clubs and library. Students ended their day with a speed schedule to all their classes. Whew! A day of fun and growing more familiar with WMS! Looking forward to tomorrow with all our WMS Demons.

Yes, we do!!! Looking forward to our first day with our 6th-graders! Welcome to the Demons!
Thank you to Mrs. Sackman and Mrs. Corbett for reminding us with their back to school door decor!

WMS is looking for a Special Education Teacher for 2024-2025 school year. See information below.

WMS brought back Field Day for its students and staff! Last Thursday, students enjoyed being outside and hanging out with their homerooms and teachers, participating in various activities. Trust me, many are harder than they look. One of my favorites was the Change Off Relay. Running in pants to big and exchanging them with the next runner. Speed wasn't everything in this event. The exchange was key. Special shout out to Ms. Huston and Mr. Mercado for planning and facilitating the event. Thank you to all the staff who supported them in getting it ready! Thank you to all our students and staff for participating and enjoying the day!

As our WMS Demons were reminded earlier this month about what Memorial Day stands for, please take time on this day with your family to honor those who gave their lives of or our country.
