Welcome Stephana Almond - Washington Middle School
In June I married a Glendive local, Shane Almond, and moved here from Rapid City, SD. This is my 16th year of teaching and my first year in 8th grade. Over the past 16 years I have taught 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th grades at various points. I graduated from Black Hills State with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Middle School. In August 2013, I completed my Master's Degree in Education Administration from University of South Dakota. In 2015 I began my quest for a Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction through Liberty University Online. My doctorate was completed in 2019. I have 3 adult children. Harmony (29) Works at Reptile Gardens year round in the bird department taking care of all her feathered friends. Hunter (26) is a Band Director in the Omaha school district. Aubrie (21) is a junior at Virginia Tech for Wildlife Conservation.
