Welcome Pamela Dean - WMS

My name is Pam Dean and I will be teaching at Washington Middle School as a special educator/interventionist! Having gone to Washington Middle School myself and graduating from Dawson County High School, I can say I am thrilled to be here! I have taught for 32 years and bring varied experiences to the classroom. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to helping students gain academic growth, building self-confidence and gaining independence in order to become successful at whatever they choose to do in life. When I am not teaching you can find me spending time with family and friends, gardening, camping, hiking or crafting! My husband, Calvin, is excited to be teaching math at Dawson Community College. We have two grown children, Elizabeth, a Speech/language Pathologist and Christopher, a Physical Therapist. It feels so good to be back home!
