Welcome Jasmin Winchell - WMS
My name is Jasmin Winchell. I teach 6th grade ELA at Washington Middle School. This is my 9th year of teaching, but my first year teaching 6th grade. After I graduated from DCHS, I completed my education and graduated from MSU Bozeman. I taught pre-k in Casper, Wyoming, before returning home to Glendive. When I came home, I taught 4th grade at Lincoln School for 3 years. I took some time off after my husband and I started our family. I’m overjoyed to be back in the district and for this next step in my career at the middle school. So far, the best part of getting back to school is getting to meet and know the students.
I grew up on a farm and when I’m not at school, helping my family on the farm is my favorite place to be. My husband, Alex, and I like to get our daughter involved on the farm. We love to be outdoors whether it be archery, trips to Fort Peck lake, or spending time on the river.
I’m looking forward to a great school year!
