Middle of the year reminder of these safety tips from the Glendive Police Department (See Facebook Post).
We encourage all of our students, parents, and community members to be mindful of their surroundings and always take precautions.
Please remember, "if you see any suspicious or concerning activity, please contact the GPD at 406-377-2364 or dial 9-1-1."
Thank you to the Glendive Police Department, Dawson County Sherriff's Department, and all who contribute to making Glendive a safe and welcoming community.

I just wanted to inform you that there was a soft lockdown today at Lincoln Elementary School. The soft lockdown was initiated for the respect of other students in the building. In a soft lockdown, the teachers continue to teach in their classrooms as we need the hallways for various reasons. Law Enforcement and Ambulance was both here at the school, but there was not a risk to any student. I know with everything going on in the world everyone is heightened to these types of situations. I know that sometimes word spreads before we are able to get information out to the parents. We will continue to try and inform everyone as soon as we are able in these types of situations. Thank you!

Glendive Public Schools would like your input!
As many of you know, the District has launched a comprehensive planning process to identify the educational needs of the community and shape the overall vision for our future. Determining the goals and aspirations of Glendive residents is the main objective driving our planning efforts. This will be a transparent process in which we will continue to seek feedback to ensure we create vision which reflects our entire community.
As part of this effort we will be reaching out in various ways to get your input. The first opportunity is available now through a community-wide online survey.
Please consider taking a few minutes to fill out the survey through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YYSPZTB

Tis the season for giving. Unfortunately, there are kids that come to school with sicknesses that are contagious. Please make sure your students are washing their hands and being safe. Here is a great reference and reminder for everyone.

Just a reminder that today is an early out and No School Thursday and Friday.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
